Club Latinitas: Become a club assistant!

Club Latinitas is a space where Latina youth, and girls of all backgrounds, come together and express themselves through multimedia projects. Club Latinitas, our longest-running program, takes place at select elementary and middle schools in the Austin Independent School District (AISD) and welcomes all girls in grades 3rd – 8th.

This program focuses on encouraging youth to build confidence, courage, and leadership skills through media and technology training. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers that can dedicate at least one afternoon per week for the fall 2019 semester to meet with a club from September – December. Students and individuals interested in youth empowerment, media, tech, cultural and media literacy, and mentoring are encouraged to apply!
