3 Galentine’s Day Ideas

With Valentine’s day around the corner, what a perfect time to get together with your best lady friends and gals to celebrate the day. For you single gals out there or those who are already romantically involved, check out the following Galentine’s day festivities to partake in and bond with your female squad.

1.  Host a Party

There’s nothing better than hosting your own party as you get the fun of choosing your own decor, food, and theme. Try hosting your own Galentine’s party this year with lovely colors such as pink, white, red, or purple. Get in the festive mood with heart shaped or lip shaped balloons and cute finger foods. Add a chocolate fondue fountain with fruits, marshmallows, pretzels plus heart shaped candies to fit the theme. Adding in some fun dating card games or board games will break the ice and add to the party’s vibe. Ask your party attendees to wear all pink, red, or the color of your choosing which would make for an instagram worthy snapshot.

2. Afternoon Tea

Head out to afternoon tea with your besties decked out in your most gorgeous outfit. Outfit ideas include floral patterns, silk or satin materials, anything pink, and some lovely heels to match. Typically afternoon tea consists of scones, mini-sandwiches, tea, and amazing desserts. This is the perfect opportunity to dress up and feel your best while bonding with your best gals. Look for local tea rooms and hotels in town that have afternoon tea options.

3. Pamper Yourself

Head out to your local spa or nail salon and treat yourself to a pedicure or manicure. Bring along your sister, mom, or best friends and enjoy your time together. It’s important to relax at times and enjoy yourself when you can so this would be a great moment for a Galentine’s experience. While there, pick out some Valentine’s themed colors and designs to go along with the theme.
