For me being a writer has always been a way to express myself and provide a voice to my thoughts. I’m a Salvadoran woman who has alway dreamt about one day having a chance to express herself and make a difference in the world; even before coming to UUEE. But I won’t lie, when I got for the first time into a classroom in a United States high school I couldn’t see myself doing any of this stuff, not without first going through a huge change, but now seven years late, been so close to get graduate from college I got the chance to work with the Latinitas team as a writer in Spanish language and it feels like the world has paid me off for all the effort that one day I did by not giving up my dreams.
