Ella Ip joined the Latinitas team in June of 2022. She is a rising sophomore at Colby College, majoring in Economics and minoring in Environmental Studies. Her interest in writing bloomed in high school after taking a creative writing course, where she had the opportunity to write personal prose and poetry. She also works as an conservation intern at Texan by Nature, enjoys swimming in Barton Springs, and caring for her guinea pigs. As a writer, she hopes to tell her own stories as well as telling the stories of distinguished Latinx people.
