Welcome Home Donation Drive for Local Families Tomorrow!

Refugees Services of Texas is holding a “Welcome Home” Donation Drive this Thursday, August 25th, for local families in need. The drive will be held at the RST Austin Service Center tomorrow from 9 to 11 AM. The organization is looking for gently used or new household items such as rugs, dishes, vacuums, decor items, lamps, etc. A full list is available on their website, and though it is a nice thought, no clothing items of any kind can be accepted at this time. Once you arrive at RST Austin Service Center, please ask for Sayeda or Theanna as they are the ones running this Drive. If you can’t make it, but would still like to donate, take a look at their Amazon Wishlist, which has a plethora of essential items ranging from affordable, like deodorant or toothpaste, all the way to more substantial essentials such as child car seats or spring mattresses. All donations bought on the Amazon Wishlist will be shipped directly to the office! For more information, see their Instagram page and events listing
