On Thursday, July 25, Adultish Whines podcast host Paige Crutcher celebrated 100 episodes with a live show in Downtown Houston. Even though the podcast has been in existence since 2021, it was her first-ever live show with an audience present. The show included four special guests:

- Chris Young, Retired Baseball Player/Analyst
- Dr. Viviana Coles, Relationship & Sex Therapist
- Phil Simmons, Pour Horsemen Podcast
Various brands and businesses contributed to the live show. As soon as guests walked in, they were met with a photo booth with a neon sign of the Adultish Whines logo as the backdrop. Further in, attendees could find the bar decorated with a banner of the Adultish Whines podcast logo and a garland of greenery hanging over it. All drinks were sponsored by Traveling Spirit Bar, OST Wine Club, and Black Provisions. There was also Adultish Whines merch like caps and jogger sets with the podcast’s logo on them available for purchase right next to the bar.
In the middle of the room was the seating area filled with white foldable chairs and some gift bags for VIP guests. The seats were surrounded by black rope barriers and black cocktail tables adorned with candles as their centerpieces among a 100-shaped LED lit sign. The stage had white couches, furniture for the guests to place their drinks on, standing microphones, a banner of the Adultish Whines logo, and various sizes of disco balls hanging over the stage at different lengths. Next to the stage, was DJ Shanté setting the vibes with old-school Hip-Hop and R&B tunes such as “Like You (feat. Ciara)” by Bow Wow and “For the Love of You, Pts 1 & 2” by The Isley Brothers.
The show started with Paige Crutcher welcoming everyone and explaining how the Adultish Whines podcast came to fruition. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she thought of starting a winery with her sister in California but decided to move to Houston and start a podcast with her instead. After the first year, she became the solo host of Adultish Whines. “It just felt so natural to me.” Ms. Crutcher said, “I think I like to entertain.” She got emotional when she recalled rebranding the podcast and building her own podcast studio in her apartment for two months.
Then, she emphasized the purpose of starting the Adultish Whines podcast, “I was feeling a lot of hardships in my own relationships,” Ms. Crutcher said, “I thought, If we just knew a little bit more about each other, maybe we would judge each other less harshly. Like, What makes you human? Like, Great, you’re a hairstylist, but how did you grow up? Nobody has to have a traumatic story to be important.” She announced that the live show will kick off season four as episode 100 of the podcast, and the rest of the episodes will be recorded at Creators Guild Studio.
Then, Ms. Crutcher welcomed her guests to the stage and they made a toast to kick off recording the 100th episode. Her guests all introduced themselves and their occupational backgrounds. Afterward, they hilariously discussed dating and relationships while involving the audience. All audience members that asked a question received a complimentary gift bag. They finished the show over cake with candles and had an after party there with music by the DJ for the rest of the event. It was an entertaining show and had great vibes for any adult, no matter their relationship status.
